Christmas is Coming!

Well, less than a month a way and christmas will be here.

And just over two weeks until me EDD! There's alot we still need to do around the house. Sarah is almost done painting our room upstairs and then we will be able to move back up there. The browns we picked out ended up being more reddish but it looks good none the less. The stairs are almost done mind a coat of finish and a railing which will both be done next week hopefully. I've managed to get all the Christmas decorations up and have about half the shopping done so far, which is great because usually I am a last minute shopper. Ha! Ha! Ha!
Update on the pregnancy. Last weeks apointment my DR told me that I was measuring really big still. I really think It has to do with a surgery I had when i was two resulting in a big 'fat pouch' that is about 4 inchs I've had my whole life. Either way she sent me for another gest. diabites test on wednesday and booked me for anothe ultrasound. Funny thing about that is my due date is the 14th, which is a monday, and my U/S is for the 10th which is the prior thursday so supposing I have my baby on the 14th they wont have time to get the results from the lab to the clinic in time. Plus my U/S due date has said the 9th the whole pregnancy so it's amusing me. My friend said if i had baby early I should show up to the U/S anyways since they are so hard to get in to. LOL
Last night we had Sarahs staff party. We had dinner and went bowling, It was alright, i opted out of bowling though but it was amusing to watch all the drunk folks trying to bowl :) I just finished breakfast and now I am about to go clean some more stuff. Thanks for checking in.
The quality on my picture is poor but this year our colors are purple and blue. I love the look of our tree this year, I think I did a great job. Oh! I am suppose to be getting belly shots done tomorrow if all goes well. Its been a brown winter so far, no snow. But the last few days we've had rain and then it freezes causing these roads to be super icy. Hopefully it will snow soon so we will be able to have a bit more traction on these rough roads. Take care guys!

xmas lights

nervously waiting...

Dear Baby P.

Hi, this is one of your mommy's. You might wonder about that one day, how you have two moms and no daddy. One day I will tell you all about the miracle you are to us. This is your birth mommy however. And as we come closer to the day you are to arrive I find myself nervous. I find myself not nervous because you are coming but for the process you will be arriving. I have decided to have a natural birth because I believe it is better and safer for you. And i want to make sure i continue to make these hard choices in the right manner. Giving birth seems scary sometimes, but I have a great support system and your other mommy is amazing. I know that she will be there holding my hand through it all and i know that as long as i keep breathing, soon i will hold you in my arms. I can not wait to meet you baby. My heart has already fallen in love with you. As you grow and move around in my belly, my heart softens. I can not wait to see your beautiful eyes. Or for the first time you smile at me. My heart is so happy knowing you will be here in just a few short weeks. I am nervous though baby, so please be easy on me if you can at all, and i promise i will try my hardest to make the right choices through it all. I dont care how big you are, as long as your healthy, i know it will be okay. I know that through each contraction I can relax and breath and you will try your best to move fast and right down the birth path. Please know that i love you and i will always. Love, mommy A

Countdown time

Sorry its been so long since I've actually wrote on here. Life is hectic right now between baby and xmas. Trying to get everything ready for both things is tough. We are the first on our block to have our xmas lights up which is awesome, maybe people will be inspired to decorate this year. Last year our block was lame and there was only us and 2 other homes that had lights out. Hopefully people will be more in the xmas spirit this year. Yesterday I posted some pics of our new stroller/car seat. It was nice to put it together and figure out all the perks. Like its 5 point harness. Yippee! Well the count down continues, 25 days until my EDD! However I think that he will be early. Im down to my weekly dr apts. so I guess in 2 more week we will figure out how far along im getting. Hope you are all well and enjoying this beautiful weather. Its upsetting that we will probably have a brown xmas this year being that baby P will be here but its hard to complain when we're still in the positives.

Wordless Wednesday

Hurry hurry hurry!!!!

It's been awhile since i've wrote. Lots has been happening. Sarahs grandparents moved here from BC so now they are all settled in there home it is calming down a bit. Sarah is working on our bedroom upstairs and once that is ready she will start moving us back upstiars. It's been nice being in the basement for the summer but I'll be glad to have our room back. I've been working on getting the house decorated for xmas and coming up with this years theme. Trying to organize for some girlfriends coming for the weekend. Im super excited to see them. Baby is moving less and less but his moves are full forced and sometimes knock the wind right out of me. Sarah felt him kick once and it woke her up from her nap. It was funny. Next week we have our 36 week exam. fun fun fun. Im going to schedule an iducement for the 15th if he hasnt come yet. I've been doing alot of relaxation stuff to help with the natural birth soon to happen. Hope all goes well with that.

H1N1???

So, the H1n1 is now being offered in our little home city. Sarah thinks I should get it but i am a little nervous since i have heard alot of stuff about it. Whether its true or not true is the question. Ive heard things about it that scares me. I have also heard that the one we are getting in canada is different than the one being offered in the states. Typically if a pregnant woman gets injected with a vaccine, the baby would absorb the chemicals/toxins amplified by 1000x. The chemicals include formaldahyde, aborted fetuses (human/chicken), detergents, preservatives, mercury which is a proven neurotoxin that can harm baby's brain. CNN interviewd a few high profile medical doctors and one doc, Oprah's doctor - Dr.Oz said he recommends the shot for prego women and children, but in the same interview, he said his wife and his children will NOT be vacinnated. WTF? Im really confused. Just wondering what everyone else's views are on this subject. Maybe someone could shed some light on this for me.
Vaccine seminar in Edmonton, Alberta

1. The information provided was to inform against vaccination.
2. We were highly encouraged to not vaccinate for the H1N1, especially if you are pregnant. The additives/preservatives affect child's brain development as well as their organs. The paper insert of the vaccine says that pregnant women should not take the vaccine b/c of the amount of alluminium is too high and would be toxic for the fetus. There will be another ingredient called squalene inserted instead in the November flu vaccine. But this ingredient is also highly controversial.
3. Vaccine goes to baby when you breastfeed
4. Most additives/preservatives are poisonous to the human body. There has been a debate about whether or not they are poisonous in small quantities and research has demonstrated that even in trace amounts they are poisonous.
5. Theses poisons are : alum, mercury, lead, alluminium phosphate, arsenic, anti-freeze, phenol, acetone, formaldehyde, glycerin, monosodium glutamate, cadmium.
6. There are also animal ingredients and our bodies react adversely to these tissues. The body will attack itself because it sees these tissues as foreign agents. This is linked with the development of allergies in adult life as we start having auto-immune issues. These ingredients are fecal matter, calf serum, rabbit brain, pig and horse blood, monkey kidneys, yeast proteins, and aborted baby tissue.
7. Vaccines cause ischemia (impaired blood flow). This lack of oxygen going to the brain causes microvascular strokes in the brain which cause palsies as well as speech and comprehension pathologies. These stokes can heal (especially if the dose of vaccines was small) but the more strokes we have the slower the brain recovers.
8. Suppresses baby's ability to develop their own immune system
9. Causes a number of illnesses: cancer, dementia, diabetes, infertility, autism, learning disability, bipolar, attention deficit disorder, chronic fatigue, asthma, etc.
10. Vaccines did not eradicate illnesses. They were introduced when these illnesses were already going away. What got rid of major diseases was increased sanitation, personal hygiene, fresh food, and clean water.
