Life.... Well, its been a while since i actually wrote something on here so I figured today, being a rainly blah day, i would hop on and try to update you readers on whats been happening. Our deck is finished at the lake, we're getting railings put up here soon, probably not before may long weekend but soon there after. We ordered the flooring for the new addition as well as our room(that small door on the left) it is a hardwood looking lynolium, it tooks pretty neat and i think it will look great. our cabin is a park model home trailer that was from the 80's. it is now grounded and alot has changed since we got it last year. I spent last summer making curtains for it, as it had the original 80's curtains in it still. blah
my parents came over from northern alberta for a visit. They gave us their old hot tub, and despite the fact we called an electrician, the rain has been making it difficult to get it installed.

My brother's boyfriend makes clothes , they live in new york, and i was so excited to hear he would make one in Nix's size, Im waiting for them in the mail. If you want here is his website crazy awesome clothes. I'll post some pictures of Phoenix wearing it once it comes in the mail :)

We have spent the last few weeks cleaning and organizing getting things ready for summer life. Making sure the house is clean so the summer can be spent at the lake with ease. Sarah has been swamped in the parts dept. at work, despite nagging about needing help, they still havent hired anyone. I think its getting rediculous but she's managing so far. This year will be Phoenix's first folk festival. We are heading out to NESS CREEK  which is in northern saskatchewan in big River. Its a good time and this year will be fun cuz its a 20th anniversary. Sarah asked me to dread her hair, and i forgot just how much i hate doing it until just this week. I have about 7 left to do but my arms are so sore. It looks really good though, this is the 3rd tiem i have put dreads in someone's hair. I ve had them once when i lived in vancouver but they didnt last long, as my mother made me wash and brush them out, now that is a painful experience.

Phoenix is growing fast, he is almost 5 months old and i cant believe how amazing he is. Soon he will be eating food and getting messy. he is rolling over and starting to army crawl lol he is very strong and can stand if he is holding onto something that doesnt move lol he is my super dude and i love him very much. We are TTC again this year, hopefully soon. keep you posted. have a great rest of the week ~ CHEERS
