WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

Well life has been crazy busy as most of you are probably in the same boat. Babies and christmas are definatly fun time. This Christmas my wife has bought me a new house :)  This is my new kitchen which i cant wait to move into on january 14th :) sarah promised me a new kitchen in 5 years and instead, she bought me a whole new house. obviously i am spoiled hahahah

 We put our house up for sale about a month ago and within a week of it being on the market it sold. we were quite happy with this. Halloween was awesome,Nix was dressed as a little bumble bee

I know that when you have babies its cute to dress them up and all but i was quite surpirsed with the amount of adults who wanted cnady for their babies. i just dont understand when it became ok to take candy from children lol

Sarahs brother had a baby a few days ago. Pierce mathew. were going to head to their area which is close to a mountain for xmas. Which will be totally awesome because we all snowboard or ski so we've rented a condo for a week. it should be fun.

We took Phoenix to his( and mine) first football game. GO RIDERS!!!

Now we are getting ready for our christmas trip and moving and also we have started TTC again! WOOHOO! maybe we can make a little baby sister for Phoenix. We have started the program this month so hopefully things will be moving along shortly. Guess there will be no snowboarding for me if things do work out soon.

Life has been quite busy lately. We are getting our house ready to sell and hopefully buy a bigger newer one. Phoenix is getting so big now, he just recently popped his 5th tooth. He has two on the top and three on the bottom. He is sleeping through the night these days and i cant believe how fast he gets around. I'm pretty sure by Christmas he will be walking.  I've met a new friend. She is awesome. She is a mom as well with two very handsome boys. So now my life is starting to figure itself out. I'm not really a fan of the city we live in but it helps now that i'm finding my own life. hahaha

The leaves are falling , I love this season. Here is a picture of our house decorated for halloween. Im not sure what im going to do for xmas this year, i guess it will depend on if we're in a new house by then.  I think Phoenix will be a bumble bee this year.

We might take him out around the block but obviously he is too young for candy!  

I'm thinking of getting a part time job or picking up some babysitting so i can claim hours for mat leave for when i get pregnant again. Which should be soon.  We're just doing some charting and we should be set here for the next month or two to start or IV treatments. Hope all goes well.

Sarah is doing well. She is workign hard and tryign to enjoy work as much as she can. Her parents went to India for a month so we are house sitting as well as babysitting their dog, he is a butt head but i love him. its a big stressful with three dogs two cats and a baby plus trying to get the house ready. But I am a woman who likes to keep busy.
Well i must get going, sorry I've been such a bad blogger these days. Its hard to find the time to check my email let alone my blog. I think if it wasnt for my cell phone I wouldnt have any contact with adults at all. well maybe its not that bad. haha

8 months old

Life has been pretty hectic these last few months. Phoenix is now 8 months! Can you believe it?~ For those of you who have followed my blog from TTC to now , its amazing how fast time goes. Nix is almost walking, which is quite sad because he has bleach blonde hair and a head of bruises. But he will be walking in no time im sure. Winter is upon us here in border town alberta, we just came back from winertizing our cabin, unfortunatly, our isnt a year round, luckily however the inlaws have a beautiful new cabin home with plenty of room for us. Sarah and I have been busy renovating our home still. I took a two week raod trip with my mom, that was a tough run on patience I can tell you that lol my grandpa Neville was very ill and so i took nix over to see him in BC. Sarah wasnt able to take the time off work but I was glad iw as able to make it. he passed away the week i returned so it was really nice to see him and for him to meet Phoenix before he went.  Most of my mother family live out in BC so we got to see all of them. It was nice showing off my little man and letting everyone see how amazing he is. he is only the 2nd great grandson out of 9 childrens children, if that makes sense. so it was a whole wack of girls and him. lol he loved having lots of people to play with none the less. When i came home sarah surprised me with a meeting with a morgage broker. We are going to sell our house and buy a newer one.WOOOHOOO!! being a chef working in my tiny little kichen drives me nuts. so i will be very happy when we sell our home and buy a new one. Between the lake on the weekends and enjoying our hot tub during the week, we sure have a great life. Nix is now going to be at 8:30pm and barely cried at all. wake up at 6:30 for a bottle and back to sleep until 8:15am so it makes me happy to have a little more me and sarah time, for now. We are hoping to be "TTC" one again here soon. I think it will be my turn one more time and then sarah since i am not working and she is pretty stable at work. Hopefully you are all doing well and life is amazing you as much as it is me. Take care reader, until next time. XOXOX

                                                           Mother's Day
Went for breakfast with Sarahs parents and her grandparents, was a great breakfast. Spent the day at home and the evening in the hot tub with some guy friends. Was a great first Mothers day. Here are some pictures of Nix all dressed up for breakfast :)

Life.... Well, its been a while since i actually wrote something on here so I figured today, being a rainly blah day, i would hop on and try to update you readers on whats been happening. Our deck is finished at the lake, we're getting railings put up here soon, probably not before may long weekend but soon there after. We ordered the flooring for the new addition as well as our room(that small door on the left) it is a hardwood looking lynolium, it tooks pretty neat and i think it will look great. our cabin is a park model home trailer that was from the 80's. it is now grounded and alot has changed since we got it last year. I spent last summer making curtains for it, as it had the original 80's curtains in it still. blah
my parents came over from northern alberta for a visit. They gave us their old hot tub, and despite the fact we called an electrician, the rain has been making it difficult to get it installed.

My brother's boyfriend makes clothes , they live in new york, and i was so excited to hear he would make one in Nix's size, Im waiting for them in the mail. If you want here is his website crazy awesome clothes. I'll post some pictures of Phoenix wearing it once it comes in the mail :)

We have spent the last few weeks cleaning and organizing getting things ready for summer life. Making sure the house is clean so the summer can be spent at the lake with ease. Sarah has been swamped in the parts dept. at work, despite nagging about needing help, they still havent hired anyone. I think its getting rediculous but she's managing so far. This year will be Phoenix's first folk festival. We are heading out to NESS CREEK  which is in northern saskatchewan in big River. Its a good time and this year will be fun cuz its a 20th anniversary. Sarah asked me to dread her hair, and i forgot just how much i hate doing it until just this week. I have about 7 left to do but my arms are so sore. It looks really good though, this is the 3rd tiem i have put dreads in someone's hair. I ve had them once when i lived in vancouver but they didnt last long, as my mother made me wash and brush them out, now that is a painful experience.

Phoenix is growing fast, he is almost 5 months old and i cant believe how amazing he is. Soon he will be eating food and getting messy. he is rolling over and starting to army crawl lol he is very strong and can stand if he is holding onto something that doesnt move lol he is my super dude and i love him very much. We are TTC again this year, hopefully soon. keep you posted. have a great rest of the week ~ CHEERS

Happy 4 Months to my beautiful son Phoenix~

So I cant believe how time has gone by so fast. It is almost May and despite the weird Alberta weather we have been having, it's amazing how quickly the winter months have gone. Here are som pictures I took in our back yard last week.

Phoenix is getting much bigger now. We live in a small little city and I just heard there is a new bar opening up called 'Phoenix' not happy with this news. I was wondering if anyone knew how to get rid of the 'undefined, undefined' that seems to be at the top of my page. Thanks.

It has been a crazy 3 months, time seems to fly once you're a mom. Summer is coming and i can't wait to spend it at the cabin with Phoenix. Sarah is going to comute the hour drive to work everyday so i can vacation at the lake. Im soooo spoiled lol Well here are some pics from easter. We didnt do anything special since Nix is too young to know what Easter is all about. Maybe next year he may get some candy, who knows. <3

Phoenix is officially 3 months old, here are some cute pics of him. He has slept in his own room since monday now and has been doing well with it. He must be growing though because he is waking up a bit more hungry lol
